All account administrators are able receive all administrative notifications by default. However, administrator can still configure each type of administrative notification in NetSuite and have the option to also notify other non-administrator user depending on the type of email notification.
NetSuite administrative notifications are categorized to the following.
- Administrative Notifications – includes user login failure notifications and some announcements on the upcoming changes to feature availability on your account
- Billing and Renewal Notices – email alert from NetSuite to notify customers to renew contract or license subscription before it expires
- Legal Notifications – this email usually requires confirmation from administrator to accept the changes that needs to be made on the account such as a modification to the Terms of Service (TOS)
- Scheduled Maintenance – email sent by NetSuite to notify customers on the scheduled downtime due to maintenance tasks
- Service Release Notification – this is an announcement being sent to customers prior to the release of new NS version. This provides details on Release Preview account access including the schedule when the account will be upgraded to the new version.
